App icons and widgets refreshing

Hi, sorry if this has been asked before. Recently I've been noticing my icons and widgets refreshing every time I unlock or exit an app to the homescreen. Is anyone else noticing this? I'm contemplating a reset but wanted to get your input first. I'm stock and running dalvik. Thanks

Are you using a second party launcher. If so it happened to me. I took them off my memory card and back to phone memory. All OK with me.

I'm using the LG launcher. I think it was the LG weather and time widget causing it. I switched back to the smart notice widget and it hasn't done it since.

Happens to my G3 as well when returning to the home screen from either another app or the lock screen.

I have noticed this as well. Mine lags horribly sometimes when switching home screens because it has to redraw all the widgets and icons. I am considering trying a third party launcher to see if that helps.
