App in Deep Sleep and Disabled. How is it still trying to phone home?

Title says it all. It's a banking app that I don't use often enough to keep enabled but don't feel like reinstalling each time.

If it's in deep sleep and disabled how is this thing phoning home? I know it is because I have adguard firewalling it and get notices that it's tring to and been blocked.
