This is working on mine too, but wow does this drain the battery! Even when plugged into my computer it still can't keep up. It just slows down the drain. Crazy. Anyone else found that the usb charge from a laptop can't keep up when tethering?

You won't be able to charge the GN from your computer when doing things such as tethering, or using the screen at full brightness depending on what else is running.

USB ports simply don't provide the same power that a standard AC charger does.

I downloaded it and am actually using it right now to try it out on my laptop but I can seem to get connected with the encryption on. I can only seem to get it to work when its off and basically open to anyone

Same here only works in open mode with no encryption.

I just got a chance to test the Access Control on mine and it also works. So it seems that I have all functionality including encryption.

final > beta > pre-release. So yes it is newer.

bandwidth statistics are now accurate.
WPA2 issues should be fully resolved
Wifi Driver Reload for those that have reboot issues

Are you running that latest apk (beta9)?

Mine is turning the connection off too after 10 minutes or so. I left the pre110 on my wife's phone and for whatever reason it seems to run longer. I am running the most recent beta9 on mine.

Screen timeout is probably your issue. I ran into the same problem.

pre110 works fine for me with encryption and all. do i really need to upgrade to beta9?
someone said the newer version makes it hard for the carriers to track that you are tethering?

At first I thought this wasn't working with encryption, but in going over things a second time I noticed a subtle dialog after I changed the passphrase telling me that it contained invalid characters. Turns out it was the period it didn't like (though my home router and devices have no issue with it). When I changed to a passphrase it accepted, it worked fine. LTE Galaxy Nexus.

Anyone try Beta 9 and pre111? Beta 9 seems to be acting pretty much like pre110 to me, haven't tried pre111.

pre111 is definitely much more stable for me. I would lose wifi when my ipad went to sleep on 110 and beta 9. Running a custom SSID and encryption. Works great. No reboots either.
