App only works 2 days of the month

My favorite app only works around the 13th of the month, then crashes or freezes the whole rest of the month.

I have an s21 on AT&T, the app still works just fine on my old s8+, but my boss pays for the data on that.

It's only this one app that's having the issue, and I've tired everything! Clear cache and data, restart and reinstall, switching between wifi and data. It only works for a day or two during the middle of the month.

None of the other app users are having this issue, and it really makes no sense! What could cause an app to do this in the first place?

Edit I don't have any option to reply to answers, or post another answer. I don't have a computer, only phone and playstation to access the internet.

The s21 is my personal phone on a fully contracted plan with unlimited data, and no blockers of any kind. This is the only phone I'm allowed to use the app on, and the phone having the issue. I'm on the AT&T network.

To answer your questions, EVERY attempt to contact the app devs has either been completely ignored, or they simply parrot back all the usual troubleshooting methods that I have tried countless times before even attempting a first contact.

The app is called "art coloring".

Since you mentioned that your boss pays for data on your other phone, have you noticed any other issues with data on the S21? Is it a prepaid or postpaid plan?

Are you using a VPN? Or an ad blocker?

I saw that there are a number of recent reviews complaining about issues since the last update, so it might be a problem on their end. Hopefully they'll patch it soon.
 
My boss pays for me to use my old s8 as a business line. I originally played the app on the 8, then upgraded to the 21. So I can't play the app while I'm out since it doesn't work on my personal phone, and can't use the company data plan for personal time.
 
UPDATE SOLVED

The app is incompatible with the most recent version of Android.

My billing cycle ends on the 13th of the month. My data plan will refresh at this point, temporarily forcing my phone onto a 3G connection, which allows the app to properly connect to the internet.

TL;DR the fact that it was connecting at all was actually the glitch, as the app shouldn't be working for me at all.

Did the developer finally respond to you to let you know the compatibility problem? Hopefully they come up with a fix soon.

No, I was in the test beta program for the app, and attempted to leave that assuming it was an issue with the beta version. Then I once again had access to the public reviews and comments on the app within Google play, and found that the app wasn't working at all for anyone with an S21. Someone commented, adding that the app was completely incompatible, so how/ why was it even working for me at all? That's when I remembered my billing cycle dates and that our data is throttled at the end of the cycle, since we almost always go over the standard amount. We're on an unlimited plan. Process of elimination.
