I traded in my Rezound for a Nexus. The built-in wifi tether for ICS is incompatible with the XBOX. The stock Wifi tether on the Rezound worked perfectly. Is there any way I can get the Rezound tethering app installed on my Nexus?

I believe it's because the app creates an ad-hoc network as opposed to a standard WiFi network.

You could try searching for for the Rezounds wifi-tether app, but there may be hardware issues, software incompatibility, and other issues.

Do you happen to have a home computer with internet access? If so, how is it connected?

At home I use my PC as a "wireless router" for my xbox. If it's possible for you to do the same, I'd be more than happy to show you how to do so (provided it's a Windows based PC :P)

The wifi tether app is the same.. I'm actually using the Galaxy Nexus profile in wifi tether to get infrastructure mode to work properly. In any case, why would you use a mobile phone to tether an Xbox? The latency has to be horrible.

I've actually played Forza4 with someone who does that, and it's surprisingly not bad. Especially on 4G.
