I have an old tablet that worked perfectly fine but now half of its touch screen stopped responding to my touches. It uses Android vshare 4.2.2 and i want to use it like a media player, alarm clock etc. I can't connect a mouse on it because it uses a different connector and i don't have a converter. Any accessibility app suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! Your best bet is probably to find an OTG adapter for the USB mouse, which should be pretty cheap. What's the brand and model number of the tablet? Does it have a microUSB port?

Welcome to the forum. I agree with B. Diddy. The least expensive adapter I could find with a quick search is also the smallest one I could find. Depending on where you're located I also had several options for find near by, for a little more of course.

Anyway, do you have any idea why you've lost touch with portions of your screen? Did it get damaged, a drop, water, a drop into water maybe? Just wandering if there was any chance of restoring normal function.
