After going back and forth between the iPad and the 700 I finally chose the 700 mainly because of the price different and the storage. I currently have a MyTouch 4G, which works great but obviously it's one of the older model Android phones (upgrading in February!)

What apps do you guys suggest putting on my pretty new tablet? I don't play a lot of games, mainly because the MT4G can't handle them. I telecommute so I'll do some work on it(productivity apps would be great), but it'll be mainly for personal use. I'm excited that the Pinterest app just came out for Android because I am addicted to that site and it's just too small on my phone.

Sooo yeah, let me know what you recommend!

I'm new to the Android world as well...

I grabbed Double Twist and Air Twist which is a great app if you have an iTunes library full of music / videos. It also allows me to stream my music and video to my Apple TV which is great

Haven't found a good weather app yet unfortunately

Here's some other apps I grabbed after unboxing my new Infinity:
Adobe Reader
Google Earth
Apps for Work (WebEx, Citrix Receiver, Touchdown)
Entertainment Apps (Netflix, Cineplex, SoundHound, Flixster, Skype, TuneIn Radio)
Personal Apps (Mint, My Banks App, Play Books, Lookout, GasBuddy, eBay, PayPal)
Games (Zen Pinball, Heroes Call THD, Tiki Kart 3K, Dark Meadow, Scramble Free, Trainyard Express)

Good luck with the Infinity... I'm really enjoying mine so far.. definitely a bit of a learning curve compared to my iPad, but I'm getting used to it now and really enjoying it.

For me, its been WeatherBug Elite...

Been using it for about a year now...

No one's mentioned Dead Trigger? Amazing game!

Splashtop is my remote desktop software of choice. Great product.

Comixology for reading comics.

Recently switched from the Nook to the Google Books reader since the Google Books will sync my page across devices. It's nice to read on the Infinity most of the time but when I'm in line at Starbucks, I can pick it up on the Galaxy Nexus.

For planning Family schedules, grocery lists, etc, Cozi is a great app. My family uses this thing like crazy.

Yes, definitely get some apps. You might want to download the "Tablet Market" app from the PlayStore, it's got a pretty comprehensive list of what apps are table optimized, new stuff added all the time. I've found it valuable, though not flawless, but at least it points you in the right direction. My own favorite app is Dice Player, seems to play all my videos, and really uses the 12 Core graphics chip to do it's best, no more "out of synch" sound vs. image.

Beach Buggy Blitz (racing game)

Zen Pinball (game)

Punch Hero (Boxing game)

BS Player (multi format video player)
