app to play youtube in background?

anyone know of an app to play say the audio from one of my youtube playlists while i use browser? i know tubemate downloads youtube vids as virtual mp3s to play in music player but i wana be able to stream youtube in background

Yea, i hate that your phone has to be awake all the time in youtube I wish there was an app that allows audio with the screen off as well

in the meantime do you guys have Tubemate app? its banned from play store so u have to side load it but it downloads youtube vids as either video, or just the audio so u can just play it whenever. youtube has a great range of underground music that i used to have on vinyl and cant find as a torrent so tubemate is one of my fav apps

pvstar+ mate. That's what I use. Doesn't let you surf channels but you can make a party list it out YouTube videos and play videos inside the app, outside the app, and with the screen off.

Haha. Yeah. Free version here. I think there are a couple other in the play store too but this is the one that seemed the most popular. So I said what the hell and downloaded it. I'm not even sure what the paid version does
