Apple has lost another fan to the GS4

Agree with you on GPU, I thought thunderbolt 2 was pcie 3.0.
I have the OWC Mercury 4x4TB. It doesn't take up space at all. The way these machines cost a person can easily invest into a small raid box and expand storage.

That is kind of the point, at the cost of these machines, with all the limitations it will have and extra costs I just wonder who in their right mind would buy it. Now a days it's hard to need that kind of power and be tied down to OSX.

Most movie editors who use FinalCutPro( Its a lot surprisingly.) Developers like me who need OSX(I also run a Windows Server and Windows 7/8 in Parallels concurrently along with MAMP Pro). Music producers etc.

I have a friend who is an Autodesk Smoke Consultation/Trainer. He does seminars for the product to movie/tv production groups.

Its a limited few but enough of a market to warrant it. I know some people will say get a Windows machine its comparable blah blah blah, but there is also a difference in learning curve from one to another. Also a product like Smoke is Mac only.

Also those who I know have a Mac Pro are still using the same ones from 6 years ago. When you buy a device like this, it is for the long haul. The fellas buying this aren't broke either. Money might not be as much of an issue. I bought an iMac instead because at the time the Mac Pro was already long in tooth. I am looking forward to this new one.
