Apple Music compatabillity with S8

[Android Central Question]

Hi

I've had Apple Music on my S8 since i've owned it. As I was having problem logging in I decided to delete the app and reinstall. However, when going onto Play Store all I get the error message "Your device isn't compatible with this device".

Any ideas how to fix this? I've trawled the net but nothing seems to work e.g. deleting cache/changing screen size etc.

Do Samsung just install an APK file on the phones in the factory before selling?

Hi

Yes, I had a chat with Apple who said they would pass the problem on to Samsung (basically got fobbed off in a polite way). It's bizarre that I've had Apple Music on the phone working for a while and all of a sudden it's now incompatible.

I'm happy to install an APK file but obviously concerned re viruses. I have downloaded the Apple Music APK from Mirrorapk but wanted to try other solutions first.

I wouldn't install any APK from 3rd party servers.

Apple Music is compatible in Play Store on my S8. I just installed it to try. Something isn't right with your device. Factory reset would be my next suggestion.

Same for my S8+ which is 2 weeks old, has Aug Security updates. GPS is showing Your Device is Not Compatible.

Search for Apple Music, it doesn't turn up... Only when I searched Google in web browser could I even find it.

Did you try Google Play Store initially?
I might try a factory reset if all else fails.

Just a thought, I have Kaspersky running on my S8. Do you think that might be causing the issues?
