That isn't the same. IBM, simply became a manufacturer of PC's. Just like HP, Dell, or Toshiba. IBM sold its PC division to Lenovo.Apple roughed it out and beat IBM. IBM used to be a household name. Ask a 15 what does IBM stands for. Better yet, ask a 20 year old. Every teenager in America has been exposed to Apple. With their brainwashing commercials, they'll be in business a long long time.
Google has a weird marketing strategy with their devices. They barely advertise, yet they had the nexus 7 on backorder.
