Apple seems content with its current Fanboys and Fangirls

From what I understand, you cannot watch Apple's live event on anything other than an Apple device. What is the strategy behind this? You would think that they would want everyone to be watching in an effort to woo more customers.

Not sure. It isn't unheard of them being proprietary.

I see three types of "apple fans" around my town. You got your younger teenagers trying to look cool, then you got your old people cause of convenience with learning how to operate a apple and finally you got your social media types, taking lots of selfies, lots of instagraming and lots of facebooking. Blind to the real world and content in their little "ecosystem". I have never physically talked to a person who uses apple and in their defense stated anything other than, "bro, because they are cool".

I think they want to generate expectation and maintain the "exclusive" fame. It's stupid in my opinion.

This attitude pretty much reconfirm the way they want to make everything proprietary and restricted to their format.
