apple to android for first time ..ordered the S7 edge.

I jump between iOS and Android regularly. But switched to the S7 Edge and so far this phone is superb. Samsung have done an amazing job.

Smart switch is a total disaster for macs. It doesn't work at all with my 2011 imac. Luckily for contacts having everything connected to google works. iSyncr works for transferring music. I really enjoy the S7 Edge. But if all you do is use apps, text and play video and music, there really is not much difference. Sure, you can put widgets on your phone but if you look at many screen shot photos of the S7 edge, they look like an iPhone.

It's all about customization. You can make it "yours" and like no one elses. With the iPhone, you can change the background and put apps in folders, that's about it.

Wondering about doing the same jump. Any idea when android will support fingerprint unlocking in 3dt party apps? For example at the moment my bank app accepts my fingerprint as a security password which is so useful. That is on iOS.
Another thing got me worried was I have heard a lot of users complaining sd card problems with the s7 edge.

Absolutely no problems with the SD card. If you buy a quality card like a Samsung Pro, etc, they work perfectly.

With Marshmallow you can use fingerprint for apps that have support, as an example my password keeper allows for fingerprint, website logins allow for it so I see no reason other than developer support being any issue for your bank
