Apple to Android Transition - iMessage on other devices

I had a Note 2 or 3 many years ago, but have been an iPhone user ever since. Now...I have a Note 20 Ultra on it's way to me. I know that I will have to disable iMessage on my iPhone before activating the Note, but my question is about other devices. I also use iMessage on a MacBook Pro, a MacMini and a wifi-only iPad.

Do I have to disable iMessage on everything or just on my iPhone?

You have to disable iMessage for your phone number. This is what you'll need to do - https://selfsolve.apple.com/deregister-imessage/

Also, be aware that any group texts you were in are probably going to have to be re-created.
