Applifier video cache

This folder keeps creating itself and it has a video in it. The video is an advertisement for a casino game. Can't figure out where it's coming from. Anyone ever get this.

check you running apps and see which apps are running that you didnt open, that will lead you to which app you downloaded is creating the spam, i had an n64 emulator that would have popups in my notification about all kinds of stuff

No I ran air push and it didn't find anything and lookout can't find any malware. It created the video again last night while I was in the shower. So its something running in the background

I think its Facebook. I uninstalled it and am using the mobile site. I'll see if that does it.

I've got the same thing! I actually contacted applifier about this but all they said was to delete the folder if I don't like it. Obviously, I told them that I've deleted it multiple times and it continues to come back but they have yet to reply.

Please keep us posted if anyone figures out how to stop it or what application is causing it because it's extremely annoying.

Well it's not Facebook. The video came back while Facebook was uninstalled. I've uninstalled zedge for now to see if that's it. I get lots of ads in it so we'll see.

probably not zedge cause i use it and havent gotten any malware or applifier vids

Tell me it's not Hill Climb Racing. That's like saying "Your favorite dog is the one causing all the arson in the neighborhood. We have to put him down". I guess if the video is the worst of it, I can live with it.

I do not have that app, however.. I have the game Ruzzle and so does my mom.. and she is having this video show up also. Any of ya'll have ruzzle?

I had ruzzle but uninstalled it a while ago. I am going to uninstall hill climb and see if the issue persists. I will report back soon.

my old phone had the issue, and some of the apps that are the same from my old phone to my new phone are Camscanner, Ebay, Zedge, Camera Zoom FX, Photogrid, Hide it Pro, Adobe, Facebook and Twitter.
