Hi everyone and new member here from South Africa. Been an android user since Galaxy S2 and been a die-hard user ever since.

Recently moved from using Huawei phones after the US trade ban to Xiaomi and Vivo until settling on the Vivo X50 Pro.

Whilst Funtouch OS 10 isn't the greatest skin over stock Android, it's still quite customisable and clean. Its battery statistics are a bit basic compared to Huawei. I installed GSAM battery monitor and discovered the option in more settings for "Battery Use - Built In". I've used this option on Huawei and it always goes to the skinned Huawei battery management.

When selecting this option on the Vivo X50 Pro it goes into stock Android's battery settings and there is no option to enter these settings besides using GSAM. Does anyone know why this is happening, and any pros/cons to it? How would one find these settings without GSAM?

Anyone ever seen this happen on any other skins from different manufacturers?

Thanks in advance

It goes to the default app. If you don't have a battery app in default apps, the manufacturer left it set to the stock Android app. (If you do, clear the defaults on that app, and you'll be asked which app to use the next time you look.)
