apps and the infuse

Came from iPhone so I am a bit lost with how apps work on the infuse.

-can all the apps in the android market be considered safe?

-thoughts on the Amazon market? Those safe?

-someone recommended a virus protection....really? That's new to me. Which one?

-anything else I should know about apps?

I think they are fairly safe . I read some where there have been 50 or so that have been malicious out of 200,000, or something like that. But with that said, better safe than sorry. I use AVG free because that is what I use on my computer. There are lots out there so find one you like.
