apps automatically downloading

someone told me when you sign into your google account on a new droid all your apps will start downloading. free and purchased. i thought that was a htc sense thing. not a google thing.

has anyone that got their d3 had their apps automatically start downloading?

It starts whenever you sign into the market and accept the terms the first time. It is a google thing.

Yep, can confirm. Booted up my wifes phone, got it all setup, and it restored all apps. Installed everything a hell of a lot faster than my OG Droid

wonder why it didn't do that with my x2. well no matter, i'm just happy if it does it on my d3. should be there when i get home. can't wait

FWIW, there is a checkbox setting when you first sign in to your google account to *not* have your device automatically download your apps.

I find this useful as there are some apps I want for the phone, but not the Transformer, and vice versa.
