Apps didn't have full access to Google Photos (issue)

I have Google Photos as my main gallery app and when I try to send a picture, the app doesn't show all my photos on Google Photos, I have photos since 2019 on Google Photos and the app can't access them for an example . I tried reset app permissions but that didn't work. I have an unlocked Motorola edge (2022) running Android 14

If you took the pic before this phone then when you try to attach a photo from your messaging app the photo will not show up you will either have to find the photo in Google photos and from there hit the share or find the photo and download it to your phone so that it shows as a photo within the messaging app

You could try sending the pics using default file manager app.

File sharing can be tricky, since the Share menu can differ between apps (and also may depend on the version of Android you have). I'm guessing that when you try to share a photo, the default is to show you only the photos that are stored locally on the phone, rather than accessing your Google Photos in the cloud. To get to those cloud photos, you need to look for an option to access Google Photos (and not just the local phone Gallery).

It'd still be helpful to see a screenshot of what the share menu looks like for however the OP is trying to send these images. It can sometimes be a little tricky to figure out where to find the Google Photos option that will show all of a user's photos stored in the Google Photos cloud (as opposed to those saved to the local storage).

I myself have downloaded 4 different file manager apps despite the default one. Their straightforward navigations help in what i want to do. Sharing is way easier with them.
