Apps dowloading to home screen

Everytime i download a new app it drops a shortcut to it on my front page home screen. This gets annoying. I know i can just delete it, however, how do i stop it from defaulting to put one on the home screen?

Open the Market/Google Play Store. Tap menu, then settings. Uncheck "auto add shortcuts".
