APPs folder on the internal memory?

I installed the Yuli Notes app and I'm trying to import a back-up from my original EVO. The thing is the app won't recognize the back-up file when I put it in the root directory and i don't see an apps folder. With the original EVO it had it's own folder in the root directory when viewed in Window explorer when the phone was mounted as a hard drive.

I tried installing the the SD card from my original EVO into the LTE, but the app still doesn't detect any back-up file to import.

Any help?
