apps mkt 2.2

Hi! New to this forum, but desperately need help and advice about Android. I bought my tablet last summer and really liked it....much better than a netbook. I gave several as gifts for Christmas. One is a great little tablet and works like a charm. The other(different brand) is giving us a problem. There are 2 Cerebro tablets running 2.2. We finally got them registered to the apps mkt, but when trying to download apps they will not recognize the connection. Since we are having the same problem with both tablets, I assume we are doing something wrong....maybe in settings? Any advice? Please!
