Apps moved to SD

I recently bought a larger SD card and moved some apps to it, such as gTasks, messenger and Kindle. They worked no problem for 2 or 3 days but now they are grayed out and it says they are on the SD card and not installed, can anyone help?

Re: Apps moved to SD

Apps don't get moved to the card, pieces of them do, and links to those pieces are kept in internal storage (where Android looks for them). And it doesn't always work as expected when you move them. (Android isn't designed to install apps to external storage.)

If your card is a lot larger than your internal storage, and you don't mind rooting, you can use External 2 Internal SD (Root) to swap the mounting, so the card mounts as internal storage, and the internal ROM space mounts as external storage. Then your apps will actually install to the SD card. You'll probably have to replace the card sooner by using it that way, but we're talking about more time than you probably will want to keep the phone.
