Apps/movies won't save to SD card on Galaxy S4 7.0, how can I get them to?

Apps/movies won't save to SD card on Galaxy S4 7.0

Wondering if anyone else has had the same problem...bought a S4 7.0 for my daughter for Christmas. I knew it didn't have much space to save items so I put in an SD card...however....it seems I'm very limited on what will save to the SD card so now she can't download movies, etc. For instance, I tried moving an app over the SD card...it looked like it was in the process and then it quit and won't save to the SD card. Anything special I need to do, I would really like to save movies to the card.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean a Galaxy Tab 4 7.0? The Tab 4 is a tablet, and the S4 is a phone.

Where are you trying to download movies from? Most legitimate movie apps and sites won't let you download a movie file and manipulate it unless you paid for it.
