As mentioned above, the main issue is not when you insert the card, but rather when you remove it. You should always UNMOUNT the card first in the Settings>Storage menu BEFORE you remove the card, because removing the card without unmounting can possibly corrupt the data on there.

Not unmounting the card can lead to errors. Similar to yanking a jumpdrive out without ejecting it.

yes restoring the phone sorted it i backed everything and restored it and it has sorted it, so yanking it out must have been the problem

i have 3 boxes in my house, 2 being sky+hd, but the app will only find one of them which aint mine i have left the app on 24 hrs but still cant find it, the telephone line does that have any effect? its the same as tevo in the states if thats where u are from u can get an app in the uk which if u find a program u want to record u can record it from the phone
