Apps not showing up full screen

I have downloaded a few apps and they are not working full screen. Right now I cant get Awesome Drop or Newspapers to work full screen. My phone is less than 24 hours old and these are apps downloaded from the market. I reset the phone and redownloaded but the problem did not go away. Anyone else seeing this issue?

It's an issue with those apps. The dev needs to fix it on their end. I would recommend that you email them so they are aware.

I think it has to also do with the higher screen resolution. Which is kinda making wonder if I should stick with the razr as opposed to going with the nexus. Because it seems that the higher the resolution the more stuff u will be able to fit on the screen compressing the images. Which for me makes it barder to see.
Am I correct in my assessment? Because some games I have had on other phones witb less resolution than on the razr the images on the phone with less res appear bigger. N with midage eyes smaller images can present a challenge. The only advantage where I can see higher res mattering is with movies and pics. Am I correct? Thanks.....

Here is the trick. After you download the app. Go in and uncheck compatibility mode. Restart the phone the go back in and check co patibility mode. That should correct any issues u may have. Keep playing witb that and it should resolve your issues

Where is that? Also, the apps started full screen and then upon seconds or third use went to smaller.

Yep. The apps are set up for 480x800 and no support for qHD. It's an app issue that the dev needs to fix. Photo bucket has this problem

Usually I'd agree, but Awesome Drop worked full screen on first load and then went partial screen.
