Apps not working on LG G3?

[AC Question]

Since updating the software on my G3, apps like facebook, gmail and snapchat won't load properly/ if at all and they won't give me any notifications. I have tried clearing the cache to no avail. I can't even open the play store. Also, a popup message that says something like system error keeps popping up.

I have the exact same problem. And according to other sources factory reset is only a temporary fix :/
