Apps that just do not install

Have any of you experienced having an app update that downloads fine in the Google play store, but will not install and generates an error message saying it is unable to install?

Which app? Try clearing the app cache/data for the Play Store as well as Download Manager in Settings>Apps​ (you have to show the system apps to find the latter).

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried those things based off of your suggestion. Still no go. Strangest thing I've ever seen.

Also send feedback. Maybe there's something about the update that's glitchy.

I've sent feedback. Unfortunately, no response as if yet. Been about two weeks.

Does it even show up in the Play Store any more if you search for it on the phone? If not, then it was either pulled from the Play Store for some reason, or it's no longer compatible with the phone.

Same thing happened with LPL Account View app for me. Provided feedback with no response or solution yet.

If you look at the Play Store listing, click Read All Reviews, then sort by Newest, you will see lots of people having similar problems.

I've been receiving those messages on some apps ever since I put Android 12 beta on my S21 Ultra and even though it's out of beta I still get errors.

Yeah, it just happened with a game on my phone called The Chronos Principle.
