Apps that support Face Unlock-Post them here!

I bank with Chase too. I use the face unlock hack. I use Last Pass to login.

I'm loving that hack. It's so powerful! :D

I've also tweeted and left in-app feedback with Chase about how the largest bank in the U.S. doesn't have it - but B of A does. Doesn't hurt.

And I can add another oddly specific app that supports face unlock... Hyundai Blue Link.

That was a nice surprise.

Yet... still no Chase.

Got an update from Chase this morning and got kinda excited thinking FaceID will finally be supported but...no.

Same. I left them another piece of feedback through the app. You know, like it matters.

Are we still waiting on Wells Fargo? I don’t have the phone yet so I have no way of testing.

@PaulQ:
May I ask how you set up face unlock on Microsoft Authenticator?
I can't find any settings in the App or on my Azure AD account page.
I have a work Azure AD account, not sure if that is important (maybe som admin have to allow face unlock?).

Thanks!

It appears to use the latest biometric API and there is only one toggle in settings to turn "App lock" on and off. It's the only setting I have under "Security." There is no selection for different types of biometric methods (e.g., fingerprint, face, etc.). I assume it is just defaulting to the phone's one available option.

I think you are right and it has to do with your work account. I agree that it could be that they have to turn on face unlock, especially if you used to have fingerprint. Since this phone is not very common, you might want to reach out to someone in your IT dept and make them aware of your phone. They might not have even thought about it.

Still waiting on mainstream apps like American Express, Discover Card, etc. I don't think my emails have helped speed up the process, lol

I don't think they hurt. This phone is just not common. Very easy to ignore us. You never know if your email/tweet/etc. is going to end up with a developer who takes action. We also don't know how many other people are reaching out to these companies so adding to the chorus always helps.

Took me 20 seconds to tweet Chase. Maybe one minute to send feedback in their app. Plus emailing them. I think I need to email them again.

Yeah I guess we are the “minority”. Must remain diligent

@PaulQ Aha, I misunderstood. I thought you could use face unlock to answer the message to accept the authentication request.
Not the App lock.
Thanks anyway!

Nationwide banking app UK.
Oh that's good. I will install it later on. It's on my pixel 2xl currently.

Now installed and working on my 4XL.

NatWest is still FPS only. Although it works with iPhone Face ID. I left a review pointing this out.
