I have had my G1 for about a week now and i find that you can only save apps to the internal memory(which isn't much) and would like to know how to save them to my SD card. Does anyone know?

you have to root your g1 in order to use the A2SD (Apps 2 SD) function.. maybe someday google & htc will get wise and include that in the kernel to begin with..

If you install Cyanogenmod and set up an extfs partition on your SDcard Apps2sd is automatic on first boot.

With regard to the recent news article Installation of Android apps on SD cards now slated for 'future release', dated April 30, will this ever come to the G1 without having to root?
