Apps will not default where I ask

I've been having the same default app issue. I found out when I uninstalled Chrome I was able to get default programs again. But I like Chrome much more than default programs so I guess I will never get default programs again?

Best thing you can do is to report the bug to Chrome devs

I was also having this problem.

Un-installing the Kohl's app worked for me.

I would uninstall chrome, but it's leaps and bounds better than the stock Internet app. Hopefully Google will respond to my chrome issue soon. *stillwaitingforaresponse*

I'm a little late to the party, but it looks like removing Chrome solved the problem for me as well.

I had the same problems as the rest of you, I found it to be the launcher i.e. golauncher ex prime, so I switched back to wiz and all is well.

My issue was Protected Folder on CM11.
LastPass was in a protected folder and that didn't let me save Chrome as default. Once I unprotected the folder, I only had to set the default to Chrome once more and it stayed that way.
