Got mine earlier today ( XL ), before noon. Check for update button did not work yesterday even tho Im on the beta GPS. So the Update button did not work for me this month as it did last month.Ha

Still dont have the April update on the Pixel ( 2016 ) maybe by Friday .

Having said that I will probably get it on Thursday

There are several battery improvements listed in the changelog so the improvement is likely more than just your feeling that it's gotten better!

Can't say I've noticed any improvement yet, but it's early days, and battery life was already pretty good.

What I've noticed is that the lockscreen fixes in this maintenance release have managed to tame the transparency/gradient that made black lockscreen wallpapers look fugly gray. I'm back to a solid AMOLED black lockscreen and sweet, sweet Swift Black notifications.

I seem to be getting slightly better standby battery. Other than that no difference here.

I haven't paid attention to any battery improvements but I will say that my wallpaper issue where it switches to some weird random pic I nolonger have on my phone is still here.

I had a problem on my old HTC 10 where I had a wallpaper app that I ended up uninstalling after awhile and I forgot all about it. Then out of the blue I started getting random wallpaper changes. Drove me nuts till I figured out there was a file of walls from the app I had deleted sometime earlier. Found the file and deleted it. Reason I did not suspect it was I never made the file. the app did. Maybe look for a suspicious file?

Have you done...
Settings > System > System Update > Check for update

With a current Google Play Services that should immediately start the update.

Mine goes back and forth....sometimes says VZW, sometimes says Verizon. No idea what causes the switch.
