Aps not reinstalling

S9. If I uninstall an ap from the home screen after long-tapping the icon, I cannot re-install the same ap from the play store. After tapping 'Install' I get the 'Waiting for download' message even on wifi.
This only happhappens if the uninstall was from the homescreen. If I uninstall from Settings > Aps it's all good.

That's strange , have you tried any steps to correct this?

'Steps to correct this' is what I'm hoping for!!
Specific aops affected are Spotify and Snapseed.

Ok ...go in phone settings and type in search bar reset ,then go into reset settings and see if this helps
