AR Stickers not working correctly? Turn off Camera HAL HDR+

I recently noticed that my Camera app couldn't figure out where to place AR Stickers, with a message telling me to move closer to the location I want to place the sticker. But no matter how close I was, it still didn't work. Then I remembered that I had turned on the Camera HAL HDR+ setting in Developer Options (which is supposed to activate Visual Core for the Camera app: https://9to5google.com/2017/11/28/h...droid-8-1-developer-preview-2-android-basics/). So I turned off Camera HAL HDR+ and rebooted, and AR Stickers work again.
