Are both cores working on the Rezound with ICS ?

I'm concerned that both of the cores on my stock Rezound with ICS (OTA) is not working. I downloaded Micro CPU Monitor from the Play Store that shows the activity of each core (even when you are in other apps). I haven't seen my second core engage while several functions will cause the first core to max out. A friend of mine with a rooted Rezound running the Venom rom has activity in both of his cores. As we all know, ICS supports multiple core usage...I'm just wondering if my phone has an issue with it's hardware, software, or is working normal?

Also, I have noticed that my Quadrant scores are typically the same with ICS as GB (and sometimes worse).

This was a lengthy discussion on XDA, yes it is working, but only once the first CPU gets loaded up, the second core is on-demand only. 2nd CPU - xda-developers

Thanks for the link. I will read up on it over there. By the way, with the CPU Monitor app noted in my OP I notice that my first core will often max out without engaging the second core. I guess it's time to root.

You also need to find an app that is designed to utilize the second core. Most apps are still designed for one, not two. Lazy developers
