Take it to their Facebook page then if you don't use that they have every social network covered find one these companies respond to social media comments and questions with a lot more info vs chats and customer service.

For what it's worth I also have the LG V10 with the hi-res dac. Like HTC, mine did not come with earbuds. I ordered the LG AKG-tuned earbuds for it from Amazon (was about $35). They sound great and would probably be just as good on the HTC 10 if the HTC earbuds turn out to be very expensive and/or not available as they are now.

But why would they choose for the regular 3.5 adiojack if they made an usb-c type earbud together with jbl. A quality phone deserves quality earbuds right? But I don't boubt that the current earbuds that are included are one of the best of htc a.tm.

It's because there's nothing wrong w/ the standard jack. It's essentially the same tech that powers $1,000 headphones and even the best hi-fi and professional audio consoles. USB C allows them to integrate an active noise-canceling tech that is powered through USB C (and would otherwise require a separate battery). I think they are also integrating a remote and other things since USB has multiple conductors they can take advantage of. USB C itself doesn't make the quality better, it just opens the opportunity for more features.
