Are the days of 3rd party launchers numbered?

Honestly I've never seen the appeal of launchers. I'm perfectly confident with my Pixel launcher on my Pixel.

I like Nova for a few reasons:

1. More control over the homescreen layout -- I can fit more icons if I want to, rather than the fairly limited options with stock launchers.

2. The ability to remove Google's At A Glance -- I don't really use that, and I like to gain that extra real estate.

3. The ability to get rid of the Google Discovery feed to the left of the primary homescreen (and instead set up my homescreens to loop infinitely as I swipe left or right). I set it so that a double-tap on an empty part of the homescreen brings me to the Google Discovery feed.

4. Icon pack support for fun and variety!:)

I read the next version of Nova is going to have a lot of changes. I might even try it again since it would add features from the smart launcher that I really like.

I've been using the new Nova7 for a little while and it's pretty good. You can install it from their Discord server.

I too enjoy Nova for the differentiations in homescreen and icon layout. It's a very interesting launcher, I must say.
