Are there any apps like Smart Switch for transferring data?

Samsung Smart Switch crashes

I just recently bought my wife a new Note 4 and I am trying to move over her text messages, contacts, pictures, and videos from her iPhone 5. I downloaded and installed Smart Switch for my MacBook Pro and it just times out and gives me a message that says the program quit unexpectedly.

Any ideas on how to remedy this or if there are any other programs out there what will do the same thing?

Well last night after trying different things like a couple of reboots, delete and reinstall, I was able to move just the contact list over with out Smart Switch crashing. Still crashes when I try to move over the text messages.

helium, in the google play store (formerly known as carbon) it requires connecting to the computer, but it does just that, and allows you to transfer data from apps (most, not 100%) to another phone, via backup

Did you try checking one or two boxes at a time? Check one or two boxes ... transfer, deselect those and check another one or two boxes ... transfer.
