Despite their slightly poor quality, third party YouTube apps are much better in functionality than the official one.

There's a number of third party apps. I used to have one that allowed playback even when in the background, but can't remember the name. I uninstalled it a while back because I didn't want it anymore, or I'd link you to it.

Bump. WP had metrotube which was fantastic. Any recommended third party YouTube apps with offline playback and audio only/background audio mode?
