Are we limited to 5 toggle screens on the Razr Maxx

I have owned my Razr Maxx for about 3 weeks and really like the phone. I am glad I chose it over the Galaxy Nexus... the battery has been great.

One thing that I don't like so well is that it appears I am limited to 5 "toggle screens" on the Razr Maxx.

I am coming from the Droid Incredible, which had 7 screens that you could swipe from left to right, etc.

Is there any way to increase the number of screens ( I am not sure how else to say it) on the Razr Maxx ?

It would be nice to be able to "swipe" and see all my apps. I have more apps downloaded that I can fit into the 5 screens that I am given on the Maxx.

Hope that makes sense.

You will have to download a home replacement.

Those apps have a lot of customizations, the number of home screens being one of them.

Search the play store for go launcher or adw launcher. Those are pretty popular.

Great, thanks !

Spb shell is a sweet home AP...but cost 15$
You can add like 20 home screens and the custom Widgets are sweet

GoLauncher lets you have up to 30 I believe. You will need to download it from the Market err, Play Store and might need a home manager to switch between your stock launcher and your new one. Make sure you clean up whichever launcher you're not using (unless you alternate between both) because the widgets will continue to run regardless of which launcher is "activated" so-to-speak.

I run Go Launcher and always will but they reduced the available screens down to 9 from the 30. 9 screens and their awesome folder options are plenty. Best of all, it's all free and it kicks the stock UI s butt.

Yes, I have to say, coming from the Droid Incredible, I was a little disappointed in the UI on the Maxx.

Wonder if ICS will bring an improved UI ?

I use the Spb shell its a nice UI . I had forgotten what the phone UI originally looked like ...

geez i just keep a few of my most used apps on the center screen and few of my lesser used ones on the left and right ones...i dont have anything on the farthest ones...i fine opening the app drawer...

I used to use 9 screens with GoLauncher but I got rid of some apps since I just received a tablet. I now went to 7 screens and it works great.
