Now its a toss up between the Moto X, Droid Turbo and Nexus. Thank goodness I am on Verizon Edge.

Yeah, I'll be buying. I get a nexus every year. Little pricey but I'll suck it up and pay. 😓 Man that thing is big.

Nope! I don't think so. I'm sorry but I'm such a huge fan of Nexus devices and had high hopes that it'll never be a phablet. Well, I guess the rumors are true now. I'll be going for the iPhone 6 for its perfect size I suppose. Sometimes a change is always good. They really messed up big this time.
Why not go for the Samsung Galaxy alpha? 4.7 inches and see if you can root and get a custom ROM on that?

Nope.

I got the OnePlus One. What I was really waiting for is Lollipop. The phone looks good though except the price. At that price point, I'd get the Note 4.

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

The size is too much. I'm wondering how much the phone size will be, how it feels in the hand. But it's too expensive too.

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

I'm still on the fence. I was 50/50 about the size even before todays launch.

I've had an N4 and N5, and I've never truly considered them flagship devices. But the 6 is different now. It's clearly putting itself in the market segment to compete against other flagships. So the associated price increase now needs to be weighed against other phones in the same tier, and whether the pros/cons outweigh them.

$649 for the 32GB starting off. $699 on the price for the 64GB version. Also might see some bloatware on the carrier versions maybe. I'm in the wait and see to no category on my purchasing. I have gotten my Samsung Note 4 already and that is indeed the standard and bar by which all phablets are judged by.

Really thought I was going with the Moto X but now I'm so confused. The Note 4 is still in the running. Not sure I can get over the size.

I seriously doubt you'll see carrier bloatware. Sprint and T-Mo sold the N5, but those were completely stock.
Pricing is pretty fair. Cheaper than the Note 4 and 6 Plus

Yes, more than likely the 64 GB blue.

Pricing is with the other flagships and so it must be judged by the other phones. Cheaper as it may be but it's up there with the others and if you already paying that much you might choose one that has better features. No bloatware is good but you never no until release if that is still the way things are going.

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

I've been trying to decide between the N6 and the Note 4. This would have been my first Nexus. I love the size of both phones and their specs are almost identical. I could live with no removable battery and micro sd. It's the camera that's hard to accept on the N6.

The price of the N6 is just too high to justify giving up the top of the line camera in the Note 4.

However, I'm still undecided. I might wait until I can evaluate them side by side.

I went from the Droid to GNEX to Nexus 5, but I've abandoned contracts and don't think I am going to pony up that much money for this iteration of stock Android when there are phones like the OnePlus One out there. Same goes for the Nexus tablet. There's still a lot of life left in my Nexus 7, too much to justify the cost of upgrading now...

I am debating. Being on verizon, this is almost a gift, actually getting a nexus, but the size is kind of an unknown for right now. I definitely will go in store and play with one, but looking like I will be ordering one.
