Won't be getting it, they should have went for a smaller screen, and also should have stuck to the 300 to 400 price tag

This is the perfect Nexus for me but dang it, I utilize too much of my S Pen and multi Window on my Galaxy Note 2 to go with anything besides a Note. But that phone is such a win! Good job Googorola!

No I am not and I am glad I got my Nexus 5 and my parents Nexus 5's earlier this year. I don't want a phone the size of a tablet that is why I have a tablet. Also the price is outrageous for what a higher def screen really 1080p is perfect and is all that is needed for a phone screen. Sorry but I will stick with my Nexus 5 for as long as it lasts.

No. Too expensive, too large. My nexus 7 is only just bigger obviously!

Haven't heard any mention of price.

Supposedly $649 for the 32GB model and $699 for the 64GB model.

And to answer the question, maybe. To be honest, I was considering the 6 plus 64GB model, so I was prepared to spend. This isn't cheap, but still much cheaper than the iphone.

No, I will not be buying it.

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

I will without a doubt be getting this phone!!

To be fair the 2014 Moto X 32 GB version costs $550. The Nexus 6 beats it in EVERY category and only costs $100. more. For that hundred you get a more powerful processor which is 64 bit, Larger screen, much larger resolution, more ram, larger battery, and lets not forget wireless charging. You're getting a lot for that hundo.

I'm 50/50 on it right now. I can't wait to get home and read all the info. I'll know for sure in a few days.

Not too long ago, I would have paid anything for a Motorola made Nexus ON VERIZON. I can't believe I am still on the fence, it's this or the Droid Turbo. The value of the Moto App suite can't be quantified. I've had the X and on the Maxx now and when I go to a backup phone, it's just not the same experience.

Of course.
Financing through T-Mobile.

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

Even though it is sooooo big, I still might sell my S5 and buy the Nexus 6.

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

I'd have to buy off contract, which is daunting to me, but I *think* I have enough stuff I can sell on eBay to help bring the cost down a little bit. Being on Verizon, getting a Nexus phone is a rarity. I got the Galaxy Nexus when it came out, and I loved that phone, but when it seemed as though Verizon wouldn't get another Nexus, I jumped ship to the Galaxy S4 once the GNex had become too out of date.

I'd very much like to have another Nexus phone again, so I'll most likely be buying one of these one way or another.

Does it go up for preorder on the 17th, or is that only the tablet and Nexus Player? I read that date for the latter two devices, but for the Nexus 6, it seems it's just going to go up for preorder in "late October".

I may get it. The screen size is a little to big for me I think. What is everybody's expectations for battery life. It has a 3200mah but a massive QHD screen. I would be surprised if the battery life is going to be above average..

I am not worried about the battery since it has wireless charging. Have one at work and home and just plop it down when not in use. Should see not issues...

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

I was on the fence and now I am not going to sell my 32 GB N5. If I need a bigger screen I will just go ahead and buy the OnePlus One. The pricing has now moved very close to that of the iPhone and since camera is quite important to me I would rather get an iPhone instead of this Nexus 6. Oh and I am holding on to my 32 GB N7 as well the N9 is too expensive as well.
