Mine Note 5 can do it easily so S7 should do it even better :D

I'm on the fence, main points is better camera larger battery SD return but they are conflict report of the camera, some results are impressive while other are meh, G5 is a strong match , it's kinda hard to upgrade from Note 5.

I really wanted to but my answer is No. No because in the UK we won't be getting a Snapdragon 820 processor, but instead it'll be the Exynos 8890. This would have ok but one essential feature for me is Quick Charge, which Exynos does not support.

I'm 50% in the "Yes!" camp and 50% in the "Undecided" camp.

That's because the only thing that will be the trigger to make me go to the S7 (likely the Edge in this case) is when my G4 bites the dust to the bootloop issue (on a second unit, manufactured in December). So if that happens, I'll be going with the S7 without a doubt. It's an extremely compelling device.

Except for one 'tiny' problem. The Note 6.

I've always been fond of the Note-line. So I'm thinking whether I should go with the S7 or hold out for the Note 6 if my G4 dies. The S7 is very compelling, but I have always loved every Galaxy Note device, even more so than their respective S-line device.

I currently have the Galaxy S6 on T-Mobile. I would really like to upgrade to the S7, but it depends on how much T-Mobile will give me for a trade in. I love the water proof feature and the upgraded camera. I use my S6 to record my rides while cycling and am always worries that my sweat will damage the phone.

Paid a visit to Best Buy today. Checked out the S7 and Edge. Was hoping they'd have a silver Edge to check out, but all they had in either phone was black and gold.

Really liked the way the S7 feels in the hand, but compared to what I'm used to the screen seems pretty small. Also wasn't all that thrilled with either the black or gold colors. The gold seems a bit too gaudy, the black a bit too plain. As someone else wrote in one of these forums, the black seems to me to look cheaper and more plasticky looking than the metallic colors. That's just my opinion, so if you disagree that's cool. We're all entitled to our opinions,

I went in really wanting to like the Edge, but didn't like the way it feels in my hand very much. When I read about how curved it was, I expected the entire back to be curved, like the LG G3 and G4. Instead, it's just the very edges. The rim of the phone, where your fingers hold it, seems very thin and is not very comfortable to me. I'd probably get used to it, but why should I need to? My G3 is bigger than the Edge, but much more comfortable to hold.

Both phones performed admirably. I noticed no glitches, lag, hesitation at all. Not at all sure what I'm going to do now.

Tried out the S

I noticed the same thing about the edge when I went and looked at them friday. Uncomfortable to hold, and like you, really like the entire back curved like my G3. The Edge also felt extremely tall and narrow, I didn't like that. While I don't like the idea of giving up my screen size, I think I'm ready for a more managable size again and the regular S7 is just a touch smaller than my G3.

I'm sold on the features and hardware. I know I may not get updates, but I'm likely doing the galaxy for life lease on sprint so instead of worrying about an update I'll have the opportunity to get the S8 next year which should be updated even if the S7 is not by then.

I've got a business account with Sprint, and they're giving me 60 days to try it out and return it if I'm not happy, so I'm ordering an Edge. If I don't like it after using it for a while, I'll probably swap it for a regular S7.

I have Sprint and Best Buy told me I could do Samsung for life but we've had all HTC phones this is our 1st time with Samsung. We don't care for our M9's as much as previous HTC's and want something different. BB told me because of my plan I qualify for $10 off per line so I can lease the Edge for $20 instead of 30 on both lines. But I asked when I wanted to upgrade in a year would the $10 loyalty stay and they said probably not they didn't know. And I didn't know if we wanted to be locked into Samsung so I told my husband lets sell our phones and just pay the $399. That way our bill won't be more I'll still have my unlimited plan. I'm looking forward to getting this phone and am pre-ordering tomorrow. Me the silver edge him the black maybe or he may change his mind and just do the S7 due to cases available. But I won't have my phone till the 11th and I know T-Mobile people already have theirs.

This is our 1st Samsung after having all HTC's. Six as a matter of fact. I am nervouse but excited. Gonna miss some HTC things and gain some Touch Whiz stuff and some new cool features with the edge. Ihope Zagg comes out with their curved glass protector soon, I already have one case and another on order. Somehow when I quoted this I messed up and half of my typing was mixed in with what I was quoting not sure how so I am editing.

Yes I would buy this stuff. I like this because most of my friends are using this phone. Has a great features and user friendly phone.

With only 32GB, I'm probably going to hold on to the next Note :( I get why they added SD card but not adoptable storage, but 32GB still doesn't leave much room for apps (have you seen games nowadays??!!), which is where 32GB might fall short. For media I have cloud storage, too... for apps? Not so much.

There's also something about the overall rounded shape that just looks, to me, worse than the S6 or Note 5... Maybe I just need to actually see one in person, but at least from pictures I prefer the more squared design.

Waterproofing is nice to have, though.

The S7 looks slick. U should go check it out at best buy and see for yourself.

Are you sure? I thought they said it will support quick charge.
I was hoping to have the Exynos here in the states. I liked the idea of being able to use dual sim cards.
