Yeah, I have a feeling a majority of their sales is going to become from the Black Friday discount they seem to do every year. I'm a pretty hardcore pixel fanboy but I wouldn't touch this with a 6-ft pole at $700.

Me , I'm staying with pixel 4xl another year and see what's what , don't get me wrong i think pixel 5 be great phone for people but its not what I'm interested in ill wait see what next year brings .

Isn't that longer than normal for a pre-order wait? I thought I saw somewhere that the P5 was going to be released 10/15.

I ordered the green. I'm disappointed there isn't an XL, but the size is so close to my P2XL. I had purchased and returned the P4XL because the face unlock rarely worked for me. So glad the P5 has finger unlock.

I just pre-ordered 2 Pixel 5's in sorta sage. One for me, and one for my girlfriend. Surprisingly they're only $800 CAD on Google Canada site. $699 USD converts to $930 CAD so I'm not sure if that's a goof on google's part? Or are they just going to sell them cheaper up here?

I love the new night sight portrait mode and the cinematic pan video effect. Going to order this for sure! I was not expecting them to have good portrait mode due to the lack of a telephoto lens but I guess, Google software magic fixes that.

I'm happy they went with wide-angle lens vs telephoto this time. For my personal use I find the wide-angle more handy.
