I ordered the green. I'm disappointed there isn't an XL, but the size is so close to my P2XL. I had purchased and returned the P4XL because the face unlock rarely worked for me. So glad the P5 has finger unlock.

I mean I do sort of agree with you regarding the bigger screen XL variants. I've always liked bigger screen smartphones but a 5.7 to a 6.4 inch screen isn't bad as long as the 4000mAh battery can go all day long. I'm shocked that my battery can't last all day long anymore. But that's what technology everything with a rechargeable battery, the cells die out. I mean my Pixel 3 XL has a 3430 mah battery and of course back two and a half or so years ago that was considered big. It's all relative at the end of the day. A smaller screen with a slightly slower processor with a 4,000 MH battery should do the phone justice. I would probably order the green as well. I mean 8 gigs of RAM Yes is a bump up. That's obvious. advanced image processing that's what Google's great at I'm not surprised at all lol.

I ordered the Pixel 5 in Slightly Sage along with the Pixel Stand. My Pixel 2 was only worth $58 on a trade-in so I'll keep that for a back up phone. Timely updates are more important to me than have the latest and greatest processor and it's double the storage I had on my P2 and I'm only using 60% of that after 3 years. So I'm looking forward to it. Not sure it has the Squeeze functionality though, so I will miss that if it doesn't.

That's really not all that low considering used ones go for about $400 on swappa. Trade in price is always going to be less than resale price.

I guess pixel isn't for everyone

For me I'd never buy a Samsung or any other android phone. I like the pure android experience. So love my pixel. In fact i switched from iPhone 12 pro just for the camera.

Price wise i love it this year. We paid more for pixel 4 XL last year.

Yep yep pixel isn't in for everyone. You have to love clean unadulterated useful intuitive software, love pixel Google stuff and one stock Android for life.

So here's my thing about it, reverse wireless charging sounds cool, but if your wireless earbuds have USB-C charging then you can use the same pixel charger use for your phone. As far as 8 gigs of RAM, yeah it's more memory. However on the stock Android phone you barely need it but sure it's nice to have the wide-angle lens would be cool I suppose but that's about it.

Yeah mustang, I hear you! I mean it sounds cool, but I doubt I'd ever use it. I don't use wireless charging on my phone now.

Yeah, I think it’s something I would definitely use if I had it. Google is offering 300 for my P4XL so essentially getting the P5 for 400 bucks. Not sure if BF deals would be sweeter since it costs less than the P4/P4XL

Yeah I noticed that online. Google's got to feel guilty / bad for the Pixel 4 Sales And Pixel 5. That's why they're not offering for Pixel 3s.
