Are You Going To Use Touchwiz?

Cyanogen MOD is a ROM that will replace many of the features of TW at least from my past experiences.

Sooks, what do you mean by 'replacing' the features. I'm sorry English is not my first language :-[

I've used (and hated) TW back when I had the Galaxy S (Vibrant).
I then used a Galaxy Nexus until today.
I'll give TW a change again.

I really don't see the problem with Touchwiz; it has all the bells and whistles and yes perhaps it does bog down the hardware a little, but when installing a rom I always chose a Touchwiz based rom rather than not simply because of the features that it brings to the table. Stock Android is pretty boring in my opinion.

Depending on the ROM, it could take out or git rid of certain touchwiz based features.

I like to have more than the standard 4x4 layout. TW doesn't provide an option to give more options.

Touchwiz has improved since the Vibrant days. I didn't like Touchwiz much back then. I won't say that I love it, but I don't mind it as much as I used to. It is getting heavier/clunkier than it was; I think that the version of Touchwiz that the Galaxy S III launched with was the least intrusive version (mind you that I skipped the GS2). Overall, I prefer stock but do still enjoy Touchwiz.

They are some touchwiz based roms that allow you to set the screen size and the 4 x4 layout. Check out the XDA forums

I prefer not to root in most cases. If I didn't have to rely on my phone for nearly everything, then I'd have no problem. Nova gives me ease and I don't have to check out new ROMs and keep up to date with them (literally no extra time in my schedule, lol).

Nova launcher prime with stealth theme :) it's my go to, only downside is the lost of Samsung widgets. I like to slap on s planner on one of my home screens all blown up, but Google calendar will do.
