Bought an XL, loved screen size, too big for daily handling. Returned the XL, got regular size. Very comfy for daily handling. TBH I miss the larger screen and the notch. What I think I need is not an "XL", but an "L".

It is. I like the design, for the most part, but I do like how well Android runs with more RAM. And expandable memory is great for backups, file transfers, and not just photo storage.

Although, with my current 2019 philosophy, the RAM isn't a problem anymore, as I've stripped my current phone of everything but the essentials.

I'm looking at various phones with 4GB of RAM right now. Being honest, I probably talked a bit out of my behind bellowing about a need for 6GB, but I'd expect a company like Google to be leading the pack in specs.

Or if you were trying to be derisive to me, I'd build one with 8GB given the right kit. There was a company at a Maker Faire that was showing modular cell tech, not the one that Google itself was behind, and I was really looking forward to being able to build a stereoscopic camera phone. Would have been great if they had been funded.
