Are you gonna buy a pixel or the 3 XL

Neither for me.

I know Google wants your data on their servers rather than on the device but storage topping out at 128gb was the deciding factor for me. It is enough (just!) but not enough for comfort. The notch does not really bother me.

Price in the UK is just too expensive though (£969 for the xl 128gb) that's just greedy.

I am so disappointed as I was convinced Google would nail it this year and they just have not.

It looks like overall about 2/3's or more of the responders on here so far are going to pass on the pixel 3 this year. Interesting..... I wonder how that's going to translate into real world stats?

It looks like my chances of picking up a 3 in a year and a half or so for half price outright are looking pretty good lol ;-)

Pixel 2XLs are going for just over £400 now on mobiles.co.uk so probably same will happen with the 3's next year. I see the P2s as great value right now.

The new camera app has greatly enhanced my phone camera on the 2XL and with a lot of the new features being backwards compatible I think the 2 will only get better.

You must be one of the lucky ones who got to test the phone out for the last couple months to come up with those conclusions. Tell the rest of us, who are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a device that was announced a week ago, what glaring issues you were able to derived with your extensive hands on time.

Doesn't feel like 2/3...are you basing on this particular thread? Are you taking taking into consideration some just come here to state their case but never intended to buy it?

I'm sticking with my normal Pixel 2 but if ever think about upgrading I'm buying the smaller one again, much more manageable.

It's at Best Buy.
Does it look like it has a glaring issue.
Looks very good on a OLED screen to me.

I would like the Pixel 3. It is the roughly the same size as my Moto G4 Plus so it wouldn't be a big change in how it fits in my hand.

Was showing one of my Brother in Laws the Pixel phones.

He said he would only consider the Pixel 3. He always wears shorts in AZ and when he's in Tampa.
The Bigger Pixel 3 XL wouln't fit in his pocket. So its a No GO on the bigger phone.

Our order for two Pixel 3 XL 128's still stands especially after spending some time with the 3 XL at the Verizon store. My wife and I both prefer the larger phone and we never use it one-handed. This time the screen is a stunner and takes a back seat to no one.

Obviously I haven’t but unbox therapy complained about some of the same issues that are on the iPhone X like no headphone jack, the notch, high price point, lack of features but if it’s a pixel then eh it’s no issue.
