Ok Note 3 owners...

Does this phone boost your productivity?

If it does, in what ways?

I'm not sure I want to give up the Nexus experience yet and want to see if this is a real difference maker in terms of productivity for users.

I find my productivity at work has dropped to unforeseen lows due to the amount of time I spend on my Note 3. Ha

I don't know if its increased my productivity overall, but its a big help coming from an iPhone 4S. Notes are easy to write at saw a coffee or looking something up and sharing it with a client is super easy, and the screen and pen make it easy to share.

It has for me. I rely heavily on the calender app and notes. The pen makes using the calender widget so much easier. S - Note and action memo are a dream. Instead of several sticky notes or random pieces of information I have them all stored on my phone to look up at a moments notice. That alone has been worth it for me.

Does your Nexus 4 help with productivity now? If so what can you do with the Nexus 4 productivity wise that the Note 3 cannot do?

Nothing more productively... That's why I am asking. I like the stock version of Android, but I'm curious how much more productive using the note is/would be?

Do you have a projected need for its functionality? I work extensively with pdf files and spreadsheets, so for me, it is a valuable aid.

Mostly more comfortable thumb typing experience when taking notes in Evernote (I have bigger hands). But, that is without any experience using the note. Does having the note make other apps more effective/efficient?

I mostly use use my phone for anecdotal notes during meetings and working with my students.

I have giant sized ogre hands and I definitely appreciate the extra screen space for the keyboard. The spen is less useful to me from a productivity standpoint but it is a real pleasure to use so I stick with it.

I actually prefer handwriting recognition to on - screen keyboard for office work and do most of my doc editing with the spen. I don't need it for my job though so for me it is mostly for working on tabletop games.

I can still so far type faster than writing. But I'm working on it. If i use the pen I type slower but more accurately. If i use my thumbs I make a lot of mistakes because my thumbs & other fingers are too big. If I use Swift Key in landscape my typing is faster & more accurate, but still some mistakes. I like the pen feature and use it for writing anyway, unless I'm trying to get something real fast.

I have tiny little hands and I love the Note 3. Increased productivity? Yes. I have a blog and 5 Facebook pages that I manage on a daily bases. I interact with all my readers on my personal profile too, 6,000 of them. I've been able to do everything from my Note 3 without having to jump onto my Macbook. However, if I was to do a blog post I would have to do it on my laptop. Everything else can be done from my phone.
The bad thing about this phone is that I can't seem to get off it. I'm really addicted to it. :-[
