I have read the comments on Sprint starting to tier the HOTSPOT and AIRCARD access. No where, and at no time does it say Sprint is going to cap smartphones. But over and over I read post where people are freaking out for no reason because they read half an article, then post half the information. Then someone else reads half of that post. Next thing you know, people are freaking out for no reason at all. "I am going to Verizon". I am so sick of hearing that. Go you Verizon already then. Pay more for less because you are too lazy or stupid to read a full article and/or check into things yourself. When you get all the wonderful data overages, you will be on the Verizon forums saying "I am going to Sprint".

You are right, but not everyone wants to go to verizon because of the stupid story.
I am waiting and waiting, I have contacted tech support and tried to submit a ticket, no go. They try to make me feel like a fool, both of my phones on my account are getting 50kb download under the best circumstances. Now I would leave because of that not because of this dumb stories. I have a have a damn good reason to leave sprint, and they are giving me no choice. Everytime I call tech support all they wanna do is refresh at their end and bull crap like that. They just wanna follow laundry list of procedures and don't care what you have to say. I get the same speeds all over town, not just at my house.

I know its not the phone because I work about 30 miles in another city and I get decent data speeds over there, it hovers around 1mb all the time. If it is not the network in my home town then I dont know what it is.

I'll go to Verizon for an aircard/mifi if my 3GB plan on Sprint isn't adequate. Sprint is a good deal on phones but they're out of their minds on wireless broadband plans.

In some cases, I think people see what they want to help them make a decision that they are completely unsure of. Some people were thinking of leaving Sprint but probably weren't 100% positive of it and something like this gave them reason enough to justify moving on.

The thing I get a kick out of is people who choose a carrier based on the devices they offer when in all reality the carrier chosen should first and foremost be based on coverage in your area. What good is an amazing device if you can only use it when you are travelling.
